With a legendary career spanning over 50 years – with 16 lineups and 100 million album sales – Fleetwood Mac have evolved from a quaint British blues band, to one of the most long-standing and critically acclaimed of all time.

With a history comparable to a soap opera, scarred with a string of romances and breakups, the only thing that has remained constant are drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John ‘Mac’ McVie, since the bands formation. Ironically, their name is derived from these rhythmic duo.

Things really got started for the band when Lindsey Buckingham and girlfriend, Stevie Nicks joined in 1975. The album ’Fleetwood Mac’ marked the birth of their illustrious status.

What sets them apart is their ability to traverse a myriad of genres, a truly universal band, appealing to a vast audience of all demographics. They’ve certainly been erratic, but no matter what the Mac do, they will always be adored.
