1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial

After his F2 car won both world Grand Prix championships in 1952 and 1953 for Alberto Ascari, Enzo Ferrari decided that the GP car’s powerful 4 cylinder engine could be a great success in sports car racing, and the end result was this 500 Mondial roadster.
