George Lange has been taking photos since the age of 7, when his parents gave him his first camera, and has taken pictures almost every day since.
His professional career started with live music performance photographs of Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan and countless more in the 70s and 80s, through to studio portraits of the greatest pop icons and TV stars, presidents and public figures from the 90s to today. His work has been published in the greatest magazine titles the world over and continues to be in demand as a cultural signpost of the past four decades.
With every photo comes a fascinating story and a little bit of history he helped shape and bring to life. In George’s words, his favourite photograph is the one he is about to take.
