Norman Parkinson was a pioneer in fashion photography, becoming one of the most celebrated photographers of the Twentieth Century. In a career that spanned seven decades, Parkinson dazzled the world and inspired his peers with sparkling inventiveness.
His work invented the age of the supermodel, dismissing the stiff formality of his forerunners. The images that make up this collection were pulled directly from the photographer’s own personal archive of 500,000 images, many haven’t even been made public since their initial appearance decades ago in such publications as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Town & Country. We hope you will enjoy this vibrant, timeless collection of vintage fashion from Parkinson himself.
