Dalí Atomicus

It took the photographer 28 tries to perfect this image and features an early example of Halsman’s ”jumpology” technique he would go on to use later in his career. The title of the photograph is a nod to Dali’s painting Leda Atomica, which sits unfinished on teh right hand side of the image.
